Welcome to the circus
Anyone who has visited Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen might have felt a familiar sense of wonder at last Thursday's annual celebration for grades 1-7 at Klébergsskóli.
Fourth and fifth-grade students performed circus acts with great flair, drawing enthusiastic laughter from the audience.
Sixth and seventh graders took the stage with medleys of their parents' favorite songs to equally enthusiastic applause, while first through third graders performed scenes from the play Ávaxtakarfan and sang with gusto.
Several students performed solo musical numbers between the group acts, while the seventh-grade emcees kept the audience laughing with jokes throughout the show. The result was an evening of pure entertainment that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
