Visit to Reykjavík University

On Friday, some ninth-grade students attended the annual event held by Reykjavík University called Girls, Non-Binary Children and Technology (Stelpur, stálp og tækni). Students participated in two workshops, first in the Energy and Mechanical Engineering Lab, and then heard a presentation from a former student who shared their experience studying computer science at Reykjavík University and introduced them to the art behind computer games and website development. Afterward, students visited a company called Evolv that specializes in creating digital workforces for businesses.
