Sixth and seventh grade planting

Planting in Klébergsbrekka

Yrkjusjóður (The Forestry Fund) provides tree seedlings to primary school students for planting and teaches students about trees and forests and their environmental importance. Sixth and seventh grade students planted on the slope across from Barnalundur, which we now call Klébergsbrekka (until we find a different and better name). They did a great job, as always, though many came home a bit worse for wear with scraped palms and fingers, but hopefully happy and proud of what they accomplished that day.
