Message in a bottle from Klébergsskóli students "returns home"
Klébergsskóli received notification about a message in a bottle found from students here.
The message was found March 23, 2025
Bjarni Karl Sighvatsson, 10, sent Klébergsskóli a photo of himself with the message in a bottle that he and his grandfather found while walking on the beach below Grundarhverfi. The bottle contained a letter from two mid-level girls at Klébergsskóli, noting only that it was sent this year, making it difficult to determine how long it had been adrift at sea. He sends them best regards from himself and his grandfather, his namesake.
