"I want Christmas vacation, that's why I came to school!"
Proclaimed "Pippi Longstocking" at yesterday's annual celebration for grades 1-7 at Klébergsskóli.
Theater, musical performances and comedy.
Students in grades 1-3 performed selected scenes from the story of Pippi Longstocking, grades 4 and 5 presented "The Message Bag," and grades 6 and 7 highlighted Iceland's song entries to the Eurovision Song Contest. Between performances, Haddý Lilja, Áróra and Albert played piano pieces, with Albert performing an original composition. Seventh-grade students served as hosts and kept the energy high during set changes between performances.
